We’re learning how to make a coffee scrub with a couple of unique ingredients. These ingredients can be found at specialty soaping suppliers online.
Now, let’s take a look at the ingredients!
Coffee butter is a blend of vegetable oil and oils extracted from coffee beans. It smells like freshly ground coffee and it’s said to have benefits for the skin. Coffee butter does contain caffeine because it naturally occurs in coffee. Using caffeine containing products on the skin is said to boost circulation.
Whipped soap base is what you find in most foaming sugar scrubs or foaming body scrubs. It’s actually a detergent and it’s ready for you to put in various recipes. It adds a bit of bubbles and some cleaning properties to your scrubs.
You will need:
- .5 ounces of coffee butter
- .5 ounces of cocoa butter

- 1.5 – 2 ounces of ground coffee
- .5 ounces of olive oil
